Surf City

Surf City is similar to Ship Bottom in that it is a mix of residential and commercial and close to the causeway.  Surf City is the first town North of the causeway.  Surf City has several shops and eateries that are within walking distance to several of the homes in Surf City.   Surf City is next to Ship Bottom which also offers a good mix of additional shops and eateries nearby.    If you are looking for less of a commercial area in Surf City, you should look in the Northern end of Surf City as it tends to be more residential than the Southern end of Surf City.

Surf City offers single family homes, duplexes, commercial real estate and condominiums.  Surf City’s lot sizes vary but many are 50’ x 100’, which is a good size for the island.   Surf City is also a good rental section of the island due to its mix of commercial and residential, “middle” of the island location and close proximity to the bridge.  However, one should consider where the home is in reference to the beach as Surf City is “wide” in sections which can lead to long walks to the beach depending where you are located in Surf City.  Also, the bay side of Surf City can be prone to flooding so this is also something one should consider when looking at Properties in Surf City.
